Transcranial Repetitive Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is a non-invasive treatment method being researched to improve cognitive function in patients with dementia. The mechanism of rTMS involves stimulating brain regions associated with cognition, thereby boosting neural activity and connectivity between different brain areas. The effectiveness of rTMS depends on factors such as frequency, intensity, and duration of treatment, and current research is focused on optimising these treatment parameters.
