QUEST Project (Qualitative and Quantitative Dementia Research with Participatory Aspects)
Implemented at the University Medical Center.

Objective:

• For Vietnamese partners: Equip family members with skills in caring for dementia patients.
• For healthcare staff: Enable them to conduct proper qualitative research.

Timeline:

• Project initiation: Collaboration with UMC from 01/2022 to 01/2023, followed by application submission to the Klinikpartnerschaften – Partner stärken Gesundheit program.
• October 2023: The project received funding approval from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

Details:

1. DZNE is the main partner receiving the grant (Principal Investigator: Dr. Ingo Kilimann).
2. UMC is the sub-grant partner (Principal Investigator: Dr. Tran Cong Thang).
